Simple 3 Step Process - Move to Professional Grade Email Today

1. Login to your adminstrative control panel and create user email accounts
   
(Accounts must be created prior to setting up Outlook.)


2. Setup Outlook.

  • Download and install Outlook AutoConnect Configuration Wizard.  Take all defaults during the installation.  During the login prompt, login with your full email address (username@domain.com).

3. Configure domain records.** 

  • Create a CNAME for autodiscover.yourdomain.com and point it to adr10.myoutlookonline.com (Note: You should receive a "Do you trust this site?" message when setting up Microsoft Outlook.  Check the box to always trust and allow this connection.)  Autodiscover is necessary for proper free/busy indicators in the calendar.
  • Create a CNAME for webmail.yourdomain.com and point it to owa10.myoutlookonline.com
  • Modify MX Records (when you are ready to go live) 

With Spam Filtering:

Primary:      yourdomain-com.relay1a.spamh.com 
Secondary: yourdomain-com.relay1b.spamh.com
Tertiary:     yourdomain-com.relay1c.spamh.com

Without Spam Filtering:

Primary:     mx10.MyOutlookOnline.com
Secondary: mx11.MyOutlookOnline.com


You can now access your email via Outlook 2010 or the web (webmail.yourdomain.com). To add additional accounts, repeat steps 1 and 2 for each new user. 

NOTE: If at all possible, complete steps 1 - 3 in a single day, and change the domain records at the end of the day.  This will minimize email downtime and routing errors.
